One thing Anna told me about in our chat was a woman named Jun Pun. This mother of twohad her husband disappear five years ago and two years ago contracted leprosy. After recovering Juna was able to receive handicraft training at "Partnership For Rehabilitaion" which has helped her not only in her rehabilitaion, but also created a stable job for her. This is the type of project which Fair Trade Downunder help support.
Some of the products are things like....
One other really cool thing that Anna let me know about was the home visits Fair Trade Downunder do. This is where she'll come and run a group and take you through what it would be like for someone who's disadvantaged financially and working in a factory by showing you practically how to make a paper bag. She'll tell you stories behind the products and give you an opportunity to purchase them.
