Wear it; Matte Nails

A trend that I've been seeing around at the moment is matte nails (instead of the classic gloss). You can buy matte nail-polish, or you can try this easy DIY method of getting matte nails.

First, you'll need to put water in a saucepan, and put it on the highest setting.

Then cut, file, wash and paint your nails



When the water has boiled, hold your nails over the steam for about ten seconds.

And there you have it! Matte nails!

Something else I've been seeing is matte nails and glossy tips. if you want to try it out, do the same but put some sticky tape over the section you want to keep glossy.
