Make it; Hot Chocolate with Marshmallows

As it’s getting cooler (and mother’s day is just around the corner) I thought I’d show you how to make your own delicious hot chocolate to enjoy by yourself or give as a pressie!

Ingredients
Some small plastic cups
Some  spoons (or paddle-pop sticks)
Some mini marshmallows
A block of your favourite chocolate

Step one: melt your chocolate. I do this by breaking the block up and putting it in a microwave-safe bowl. I then put it in the microwave on medium for two minutes, stir, and then one minute and stir. I then keep putting it in at 30second intervals until it’s all melted. This might seem a little too cautious but once chocolate is burnt there’s no going back.

Step two: scoop or pour your chocolate into your plastic cup. A block of chocolate will make aprox. 4 hot chocolates so I find it best to do all four at a time, that way you can have even amounts. You’ll need to use about half of all of your chocolate mix over the four cups in this step.

Step three:
Add in some of your mini marshmallows (I find about 6 or so does the trick)
Step four: pour the remaining chocolate over the marshmallows and add your spoon or stick in (try to balance it between the marshmallows, but if it doesn’t stay upright then it’s not a problem.) And remember that it's a craft - so it's okay if it looks a bit "hand made".

Step five: Pop it in the fridge for a few hours until it sets, or else you can put it in the freezer for about 10 minutes if you’re eager to drink it now!
To  drink: swivel the spoon in some hot milk until the chocolate on the end dissolves and there you have your hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows!

If you’re planning on gifting this to someone then take the chocolate and spoon out of the cup, pop it in some cellophane and tie a bow around it.
