I saw these wooden coasters in spotlight for 65c and bought a bunch to personalize. Have a look to see some ideas - and if you aren't in need of coasters you can make these into wall hangings, magnets or anything else you can think of (please share your ideas with me!)

To start each coaster I traced around the wood onto the paper I wanted to use, then used Mod-Podge to stick the paper on. Afterwards I put another layer of Mod-Podge on top to waterproof it. Easy as that!
If you're thinking of making a wall hanging, an easy way to do this is to line them up, then hot-glue ribbons on the back, connecting them vertically.

Here are my finished products!
Top Left: I used a bible passage and just stuck it on.
Middle Left: I left some of the original wood bare and cut the "J" out of a book, then framed it!
Bottom Left: I used bits and bobs to create a "P" in negative space.
Top Right: This is a picture from "Alice and the Looking Glass"
Another cool thing you can do is to put pictures on them like this;
